Dateline Dehradun: Services were provided by doctors from General Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Dermatology, ENT, and Dental departments at a free health check-up camp organized by the Rural Health Training Center, Gohri Mafi, Raiwala, under Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant. Approximately 200 patients received consultations at the health check-up camp.
The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) under Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) conducted the health check-up camp in Gohri Mafi, Raiwala, through its Community Medicine Department. Doctors who provided services included Dr. Shekhar Kushwaha from General Medicine, Dr. Sonam Agarwal from Pediatrics, Dr. Chhavi Garg from Ophthalmology, Dr. Aishwarya Negi from General Surgery, Dr. Vandana Rajput from Gynecology, Dr. Ritu from Dermatology, Dr. Antara Pant from ENT, and Dr. Renu Parmar from Dental Surgery. They provided health consultations to around 200 patients. Registration, sugar level tests, BP, hemoglobin, and various other tests were conducted free of charge.
A notable feature of the camp was the participation of MBBS students who brought villagers to the health camp under the Family Adoption Program. Dr. Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Abhay Srivastava, Dr. Chirag Joshi, Dr. Avani Gupta, and Dr. Vaibhav Rana played significant roles in the camp’s operation.
