Dateline Dehradun: International Youth Day was celebrated at Himalayan College of Nursing, Jolly Grant. Various activities such as fun games, slide presentations, and a talent show were organized.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm among the students for this event.
The Literary Committee of the Himalayan College of Nursing at Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Jolly Grant, put together various programs to commemorate International Youth Day. The theme of the event was “From Click to Progress.”
International Youth Day is a day that offers a chance to raise awareness of the need to ensure the engagement and participation of youth, which is essential to take the country to greater heights.
Principal Dr. Sanchita Pugazhendi motivated and encouraged the students. She stated that today’s era belongs to the youth, who are providing new direction and energy to the country. Preeti Prabha, the chairperson of the organizing committee, mentioned that 144 students from the third semester of B.Sc. Nursing participated. Dr. Anupama Sharma and Ankit Singh conducted the program, and Heena Negi was also present at the event amongst others.
