Rudrapur, Actor Sanjay Dutt will be visiting Gadarpur Tehsil, in Udhamsingh Nagar of Uttarakhand on the 1st of October. No, not for an upcoming movie launch or shoot but for a more pertinent cause. The actor will be in town to inaugurate, Padmashree Ved Balendu Prakash’s Speciality Ayurvedic Treatment Centre, Padaav.
Padaav, the first of its kind treatment centre will cater to all those who suffer from pancreatic illness. The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by BJP State Head Ajay Bhatt, along with former Union Health Minister Salim Iqbaal Sherwani and a galaxy of other dignitaries. Around thirty five beneficiary patients of Ayurvedic treatment for Pancreatitis by Ved Balendu Prakash will also be present at the venue.
Telling us more about the Hospital Dr. Shikha Prakash adds, “Initially we start with twenty five rooms which will go up to eighty rooms in the future. This will be a residential place where the patients lifestyle and medical needs will be taken care off. This is a treatment centre, with qualified staff whom we are trying to appoint locally. This is basically an evidence based ayurvedic protocol for pancreatitis. “
Pancreatitis refers to inflammation of the Pancreas, an illness which is on the rise. Close to six hundred patients have been cured of this illness by Vaidya Prakash’s medication alone. The formulation used by Vaidya Prakash to cure Pancreatitis was formulated by his father Vaidya Chandra Prakash in the mid-70’s. The treatment protocol is a perfect amalgamation of Diet, Lifestyle and Medicine in todays day and age. The newly built hospital boasts of treating close to five hundred Pancreatitis patients, annually, in the near future.
