Renowned Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar called upon Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat at his residence. During his interaction, Chief Minister asked her that celebrities belonging to the State should help in promoting tourism in the hill-state. He said that Uttarakhand has tremendous potential for tourism and the State has been working to develop several tourist destinations besides linking Tehri lake and other lakes of the State with tourism activities.
Neha Kakkar assured the Chief Minister of her help in promoting tourism of the State. She announced that she will shoot her musical film in Uttarakhand.
The state government has been trying hard to promote Uttarakhand as a shooting destination. Off late some big Bollywood films have accepted the State as a preferred shooting spot. This includes Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor who are presently shooting in the State. Earlier Irrfan Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, John Abraham etc have also chosen Uttarakhand for their film shoots.
